    My point is that it doesn't really matter if Beiber isn't ready on April 1 since I don't think the team will be a postseason team next year. Beiber also may need half a year to get back to full health. Sign him and hope that he's 100% for 2026 when the team is finally ready to compete.

    This team won't be fully formed in April. It's still going to be a work in progress next season with the Quality Quartet coming up at different points in the year. I think Breslow has to set his sights on 2026 if I'm being honest.

    The Yankees fans that we have had to ban tend to create accounts with baseball related names and then behave for a few weeks before being annoying enough to ban. We have our share of well behaved Yankees fans, so I'm not going to paint them in a broad brush. They just had poor parenting! The other trolls most likely suffer from some form of mental illness. This has been a really small board and I don't know what would get someone to obsess about us for over a decade. It doesn't make sense to me. I long for the days when A700 would proclaim every new account was Dutchy/Imperial and was there specifically to troll him whether it was true or not (usually untrue). This was really great in 2016 after the BDC board died and we got an influx of new posters.

    I'm not sure a bad 6 game stretch is hitting the wall. It's not like the rest of the offense was raking over the past 6 games either.

    Taylor Rogers was put on waivers by the Giants to save 12M. Any chance the Sox go for him? Good hard hit%, good LHP reliever. Maybe the only issue is cost?

    I think prime Red Sox contention era was 1998 - 2022. That's Pedro trade through Xander leaving. I will not dox my age at how much of my life that is. Not as much as it used to be!

    How much salary do they have to eat? If none, then who cares? I just don't see there being many suitors for him at this point. Not only is he injury prone, but his offense ain't what it used to be. There are lots of questions up the middle and two of the potential answers have a track record of injuries. Hard to rely on either one of them right now. Most likely, Story will be here in 2025.

    If his swing decisions are comparable to Meidroth (SSS), he's leapfrogged Mayer IMO.

    Since the ASB: 8.13 ERA, 7.92 FIP, 0 QS His 2 starts have been his best though: 10.1 IP, 5 ER. Only 2 HR in the past 4 GS. Maybe there's some light at the end of the tunnel for Kutter?

    He's unable to. Whenever the Sox have stressed that he has had to take walks, his OPS has gone down. He just becomes more passive at the plate and gets into worse counts. This goes back to AA at least.

    I'm not even sure I can think of a guy I'd make the trade for. I'm also not sure Henry has the wherewithal to extend whoever is traded for anyway. Hard to trust FO/ownership right now.
