I've figured it out. The old farts on here just can't give a young 38 year old credit. Unless you've got grey pubes, you can't run a baseball franchise apparently. When it's bad, blame someone younger than you. When it's good, clearly someone your age made the decision.

I don't think Pedey is going anywhere. I think his relationship with Bobby is fine. I think he didn't like Bobby at first because he loved Tito so much. The whole picture drama was just Pedey busting balls which he does to everyone. Not a big deal.

Well they've cleared out Beckett, CC and Youk. Those were the 3 offseason issues BV had last year. With the texters leaving, Shop and AGon, it seems the players who didn't like Bobby got the boot.

Pedro is the utility IF next year. Should have had a real chance at it in 2012 after his strong spring. At the very least, he's a good backup plan if Ozzie Smith Jr flames out.

What's your definition of "a lot?" The only current IF to have had Pesky hit fungos to would be Pedey. Ells has probably spent time with him. Ortiz went to the funeral. What other position player would have had a relationship with Pesky? He hasn't been around the past few years...

Pesky was a good but not great player. He was a mediocre manager. His number should never have been retired. He was a great human being, but I don't see why people are getting butthurt over this. Would have of the players even have met Pesky? He hasn't been around much the pastfew years.
