    It means I think the 2 WC teams come from the ALW and/or ALC. I'm not sold on the Jays. Not sure they win 90 games. There's a better chance Johnson and Reyes get injured and Dickey turns the clock back to 2009.

    I think they are bringing these guys in to basically say to the fans, "we really do care. Look at all the $$$$ we're spending!" I don't think offseason moves aside from bringing in a top of the rotation starter will really help the Sox win in the near future. If they're going to pack it in, I'd rather them give the youngs an opportunity to win a job in ST (which Ciriaco should have been given last year when he was killing it in ST).

    Aviles only played 3 out of the last 15 games. The Sox didn't want him around anymore. Is Drew better, seems like it didn't matter to the FO.

    So? They clearly had moved on from him last year as he spent more time on the bench in September than any other "starter."

    I just find it interesting that your typical response to being wrong about something is "how is this relevant." I don't care about "gotcha." Everyone on here has been wrong about stuff at one time or another. It's also funny how you claim others make things personal when you are always the first to throw an insult. Everyone else is the problem, not you, right?

    I'm glad you agree with me about the timing of Fred's departure! See Fred, it's not my memory that's the issue. Look, I have nothing against Fred. I just think it's silly that he'd rant about someome not sticking around for the whole season when he ducked out himself. Also, NO ONE on here was right about last season. Win projections ranged from a low of 83 (Muggah) to 95+. They weren't a .500 ballclub. NO ONE predicted that on here.
