I couldn't give 2 shits what Bobby has to say. He's turning into a joke and has firebombed his career. I'm sure he'll ripeveryone via Nick Cafardo, but it won't matter. He was the wrong hire and the person that should be taken down is LL.

I was stuck in traffic next to Manny outside of Fenway right after a game. He must have left really quick. He wasn't wearing a uni though.

They don't go after Bobby to be proven right, they go after him because he provides tremendous quotes and is the only interesting part of the Sox right now.

You said it was foolish to hire him. I said it couldn't have been that foolish if they won two rings with him on board after an 86 year drought. I never said anything about having him in the FO going forward. You said it was foolish. It clearly wasn't because it worked out.

Not likely to happen imo. The Sox are just playing out the string at this point. Aside from Pedroia, this team is tanking.

They won 2 rings with him on staff. I wouldn't care if they had the staff of the Glass Slipper on their payroll from 03-on.

Jung, how do you feel about Reyes or Andrus? Defensive metrics show Aviles has had a better 2012 than either of those guys. Also, he has the 5th best range at SS this year.

He's gone at the end of the year. He's dicking around with the lineups and doesn't seem to take his job seriously. He was never the right fit, unless they only hired him to stir s*** up and get people sent out of town (the Jim Brewer theory).
