    Except that he said on numerous occassions that he met her in person and called her on the phone everyday... My completely off base guess is that he's gay, in a relationship with Tuiasasopohoweveritsspelled and is unable to admit it to his family. In order to get them off the smell, he said he had a gf but needed to change the story once his family really wanted to meet her. Outlandish for sure, but it's no less plausible than everything else about this story.

    People complained Lavs was being "jerked around" last year when he started the season in Pawtucket.

    I'm not so sure that Lavs is more of an heir to C than Brentz is an heir to RF. Currently, Lavs can't hit and Brentz is the only real RF in the farm. If Ells leaves and Victorino moves to CF, Brentz will be the only viable RF unless Kalish returns to form (seems more doubtful by the day).

    Well after reading the posts written by you and Fred over the past few years, stupid seems to be a step up from what the schooling in Brooklyn has provided us. "I won't tell you because you won't understand" is a typical A700 copout for being wrong in the first place.

    Wait, you weren't inferring that he'd get beaten up on the mean streets of Brooklyn? Seems like that was your point there... Or were you just talking about how gentrified Williamsburg is and that he'd have a great time drinking chai lattes and wearing nerd glasses? Or was it concerning the social tensions between Hasidic Jews and younger transplants in certain neighborhoods? Maybe you should clarify what you meant with your"guess he's never been to Brooklyn" comment.

    It's easier to find a 1b than a capable RF. I'd keep Brentz in the OF and fill 1b via FA when needed in the offseason.

    While I don't agree. It's funny that certain posters complain about jerking Lavarnway around (because he's a special little snowflake), but aren't worried about doing the same to Brentz.

    I was just pointing out the hypocrisy in you stating Morse is only 31, but Gomez is an old 28. At the same point in their lives, Morse only had 4 more homeruns than Gomez... You can't spin that, it's just the truth. I'm no cheerleader, but you'd know that if you actually read my posts rather than rambled off into another one of your senseless diatribes.

    Through age 27, Morse had exactly 4 more homeruns than Gomez. Just don't see the fascination here for Morse and the disdain for Gomez. The grass isn't always greener...
