    So marriage boils down to just being a lay for the husband? I know it was just a flippant remark, but in the McCourt's case, Frank was dumb enough to pit her name on everything whether she did the work or not. Also, the "financials" of the Dodgers were a laughing stock as money was taken out of the Dodgers and used on their personal expenses. Can't really give him much credit for bilking the team like that. I also know of plenty of cases where husbands s*** on their ex-wives and kids, not pay support and just leave them high and dry. The world sucks. Marriage is harder than people think. I just can't feel sorry for Frank or some Italian who'll make mord money in a year than I will in my lifetime.

    Bard was toast before becoming a starter. Anyone remember September 2011? Bard couldn't hack it as a closer and struggled mightily when the pressure was on. Blame Bard more than anyone else. It's the player's responsibility to perform, first and foremost.

    They won't go 117 - 45 (projected season total of current winning %) and I'm still not sold on them making the playoffs. They've been fun as hell to watch though.

    I can't believe they signed a guy with a glass jaw like Drew. It was bad enough that we had to suffer through 5 years of JD, now we're stuck with the runt of the litter. In my day, if we played without helmets. If you got hit in the head, you walked it off the signed up for the war later that afternoon. Now the mound was also higher in those days and... nurse, where's my medicine?
