  1. He's not part of RSFFL's "fantastic four" I don't think.
  2. It was just an FYI for you. I don't care either way.
  3. Calling him Dumpster is grounds for getting banned solely because the joke is played out.
  4. Peavy has been "ok." He "competes" but hasn't been dominant. Buch would go 5 innings with 0 earmed, but we don't know about his shoulder. If Doubront has to start for Buchholz and can limit his walks, he'd be really tough on the Cards. If Dempster starts, Cards win.
  5. You keep Victorino batting 2nd? I move him down to give the top of the order a little more punch since the pitcher will have to hit once or twice.
  6. I'll raise a Molson in your honor this weekend.
  7. That's all my point is. Nava should start games 3 and 4. You can complain about Gomes starting all you want, but the fact of the matter is that they were winning. Starting Nava every game he "should have" doesn't get them to a better record than what they already have.
  8. You can make a case Nava should have started game 1. With Wacha's reverse splits, Gomes should have started game 2. So how would the Sox be better off right now? They'd still be 1-1 this series. Last night, someone said "if Nava started every game against the Tigers, they would have swept the Tigers." Really? Nava started 2 games in that series and lost!
  9. I'd go: Ells Pedey Nava Ortiz Xander Victorino WMB Ross Peavy I would not start Drew as Peavy is a flyball pitcher and his defense may be less valuable. Also, giving him a game off may let him clear his head. Salty isn't helping anyone right now and Ross could help calm Peavy down (something Salty failed to do last go around).
  10. If there is "no way of knowing" how can you say what the correct decision is? I get it. Do you? You seem to be saying numerous things that amount to "we don't know what would've happened, but we do know Farrell was wrong." That makes no sense.
  11. Yeah, it's a shame how horribly this manager has gotten us within 3 wins of winning a WS.
  12. Brennan, there's a reason I always trade Schill when I start a new MVP 04 season.
  13. The NBA Finals also lasts 3 weeks. With the 2-3-2, the WS is done in 9 days.
  14. It was the bottom of the order. The set up man needs to get the job done there. If it was Beltran or Craig, you'd have a point.
  15. Yup. Can't really fault Farrell as Lackey had been going strong and was still under 100 pitches. With Breslow's recent track record, you hand the ball over to him without question. Salty needs to catch that s*** though. Jesus Christ, man...
  16. As long as we win, I don't give a s*** who takes the credit.
  17. Yup, it's BTR's turn unless we're throwing in a surprise 5th starter.
  18. Start WMB on Saturday. He'll be hungry and it's time to feed on the lesser STL starting pitchers.
  19. @PeteAbe: Lucky charm Jonny Gomes 1 for 15 in four straight starts. Farrell indicated Nava starts Game 3
  20. Worst game of his career? http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/9329/gamelog/?season=2013_2 I know this place is the kingdom of make s*** up, but seriously?
  21. Still pissed. Still love this team.
