  1. Adam Jones is the biggest dink in Boston right now. He's the worst. As bad as Buchholz was last night, Jones is 10X worse each and every day.
  2. JNJ! Duhduhduh duhduhduh.
  3. At least Joe Kelly is pitching tomorrow guys!
  4. Way to not get a hit fatty.
  5. How's Buchholz looking? Taking my fantasy team to 1st place?
  6. OF is wet. Grounds crew needs time to fix.
  7. I think he has the info, but is generally slow to react. He's not known as a good in game manager. Even his buddy Schilling thinks it's not something he's great at.
  8. Let's face it. Everything below the waist is kaput!
  9. Right and instead of saying "maybe we should put them in dresses" the manager should have explained the new rules to the team in ST. The Jays are completely at fault for losing this game. I have no sympathy for it. If Pedroia did the same thing, I'd double my efforts to tell everyone he needs to be traded.
  10. So the part where Bautista reaches out his hand to intentionally grab the IF's leg isn't wrong? Did you feel the same way when ARod slapped the ball out of Arroyo's glove?
  11. Hey, at least we're talking about actual games now!!!
  12. I agree, but I don't believe they need to come in every game. They'll have their turns. I just don't think this is the best example to state that Farrell messed up by not pinch hitting.
  13. So you'll go through 3 bench guys (Young to Panda to Castillo) for one AB in the middle of the game? This could have made sense in the 8th or 9th inning, but not that early in the game with the Sox already holding a lead. People complain about managers not making enough moves, but fans tend to want to make moves just for the sake of making moves. Personally, I'd rather stick with Holt than needing to put Castillo in LF for the final 4 innings of a game.
  14. I believe if Young's name is announced (not if he reaches the batters box) you can't bring him back. Why would Tito switch to Joba before Young's name being announced? http://www.baseball-reference.com/bullpen/Pinch_hitter
  15. It's been one game...
  16. And Panda goes to 3b and Shaw to LF? Or Panda is replaced by Castillo?
  17. Umpiring crew chief Mike Everitt said he was limited to passing on what the replay officials sent him in terms of an explanation: "After viewing all relevant angles the replay official definitely determined that the runner violated Rule 601 J. The runner's actions hindered and impeded the fielder. Additionally, he did not engage in a bona fide slide as he did not attempt to remain on the base." Asked by a pool reporter what he or his crew saw, Everitt said, "That's it. … That's what we got. It went to replay and that's what it is.''
  18. How about that Trevor Story fella?
  19. So you bring Young in and the Guardians bring in Joba. Would you then bring in Castillo to hit for Young?
  20. And if players don't really know the full impact of the new rule and didn't practice sliding techniques in ST, shame on the managers.
