The Canadian flag is RED and white. They have the RED maple leaf in their logo. I think that's what they are going for.
I blame ATL for the red Jays jerseys.
He's just driving his wife crazy with all his household commenting.
And Sandra walks up to the closet. Pulls out the vacuum. This is only the first time she has grabbed the vacuum in 2 weeks. Now she's reaching for a shoe. And the shoe is now being tossed in my direction. She missed with the throw, which reminds me of a story about Jason Schmidt.

I believe they only did it in 2015.
I like these as alternates because it still works with the current color scheme. The all red and all blue jerseys don't do it for me.
I hate all of the alternates. I'm surprised they've never really latched on to the '75 unis as an alternate. If you're going to have an alternate, make it interesting and something the fans can remember fondly.
@redsoxstats
A lot of Robertson talk yesterday, but I'd think the Sox are more interested in attaching Kahnle to Frazier if going to trade real prospects

Though the players' weekend should provide for some interesting notes... 8/25 - 8/27 (at BAL)

Looks like no more special jerseys after the AS break.

It is mainly a Friday thing. There are other times that they use alternates like Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.
Fridays when the Sox didn't use alternates:
May 19th - Sale pitched (away)
June 2nd - Porcello (away)
June 9th - Johnson (home)
June 30th - Fister (away)
Interesting that they have skipped 4 alternate jersey nights this year. They only skipped 1 last year.
I don't think the Sox will get Robertson. If they get Frazier, I hope it's on the cheap. Otherwise, it's a waste of prospects to me. If he was on a longer deal and they wanted to move him to 1b, I'd understand the trade.
Beeks is a starter. The Sox have continued to struggle developing starters so I think it would be a waste to move him off of that role. He also has a reverse split and pitches better against righties.
I don't think "most" Sox fans hate Price. I think "most" Sox fans just want him to pitch better. I'm not sure "most" Sox fans even care about his contract.
I'm not sure a discussion on Boston's history with race is all that pertinent to the current Sox team, so I think it's best if we don't continue down that rabbit hole.

He was only hitting .214 in AAA and arguably hasn't played well at any point this year.
