The problem is that there are only so many bodies you can keep on a roster. It doesn't make much sense to keep Hanley on the team as a bench bat.

There's always been turds in the punch bowl. With how much the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse posted, it was more turd than punch at times. The really useless posters on here now tend to only post a couple times a day so they are easier to ignore. His contract is not vesting. He'll play part of the year at best. My guess is he plays less than half the season. Considering all of his shoulder issues, I would be shocked if he didn't hit the 60 day DL early in the spring.
