It's smart business. I don't have a problem with it. I think they can afford all the B's in the next few years if they want to and that a "cliff" does not exist.

The budget isn't limitless, but it's big enough that we shouldn't be clutching at our pearls worrying about a cliff.

And Lin is starting at 3B tonight. Organization sees him as a super sub with plus defense at most positions (2, 3B, SS, OF).

I think the FO knows that he'd be better right now than their current options, but wants him to be fully developed before he gets to the show (i.e. better defense, less reliant on waiting for fastballs, etc.).

@alexspeier The Red Sox are moving Henry Owens to Double A. 48 walks in his last 47 1/3 innings, including 8 BBs in 2 of last 3 starts.

@EvanDrellich Henry Owens is going to Double-A Portland. He’s been with Triple-A Pawtucket and is still walking a lot of hitters.

And even though his defense is sooo good, he's still ranked 17th in WAR for SS. His noodle bat isn't worth missing.
