Según varias fuentes, @ac13alex será presentado formalmente como dirigente de los @RedSoxBeisbol luego de que culmine la SCLA. #LasMayores
Get hyped.
This team turned over 75% of its roster. It's going to take a little while for them to gel. They should be good though. Brown is really stepping up so far.
You don't have to explain your one note position any more.
I think Dombrowski was more concerned with firing John Farrell that day and that's fine by me.
Is anyone actually interested in cleaning house tho?
The changes I've advocated are replacing Moreland with JD Martinez and maybe a few pen arms or a bench guy.
Yup, he's short and maybe not athletic enough to play 2b. If Beni was in LF, my guess is Chavis would be out there during AFL. 1b is the quickest route to the majors in this organization right now.
How so? He said no surgeries were scheduled at that time and probably was more focused on firing John Farrell than thinking about AAAA Robby Scott. Hanley and ERod were probably not scheduled or 100% determined at that point.
Or maybe the surgeries weren't scheduled until after his comments? Maybe players were still under assessment? I'm not sure Robby Scott counts as someone that needs to be mentioned if a reporter asks about offseason surgeries.
Silverman seems to think that Dombrowski was being honest and that the extent of the injuries weren't known at the time.
@MikeSilvermanBB
I don't think he misled.
Maybe? Probably? But the only thing I'm arguing for is to swing at middle middle pitches, which should be put in play more often than not. I don't want guys automatically giving up on the first pitch.
