1. MLB is just dragging its feet (unlikely)
2. MLB is gathering all the info it can find prior to meeting with Cora (most likely especially now that Cora is out of work)
3. MLB is struggling to find any truth to the cheating rumors (somewhat likely)
At the very least, Cora was getting a year long suspension (most likely 2+) just for the Astros stuff. Even if nothing comes from the Sox allegations, the Red Sox would still be without a manager. It makes a ton of sense that needed to part ways. I wonder if they had conversations about this with Cora all offseason.
Everyone seems to wanek as manager, but he was pushed around by fellow Sox players (chicken and beer, love interest nonsense, CC calling him out, etc). Pass.
Steroids. Greenies. Andro. HGH. Milkshakes. Vitamins (Flintstone or otherwise). Back acne. Betting. Spitballs. Pine tar. Corked bats. Sandpaper. Cameras. Buzzers. Trash cans. And I'm sure I've forgotten some. Is there anyone in baseball who DIDN'T cheat?
For future reference, you should be your reply to all my posts.
Also, they hit rather well in 2018 in these circumstances. Maybe it was a sign of things to come for the Twinkies rather than a sign of them cheating?
Now, if you look at all the teams and how they fared at home with runners in scoring postion:
For BOS:
AVG 2nd best
HR% 8th best
K% 4th worst
B% 12th best
RBI's/PA 5th best
A team that was better than the Sox in almost every category: the Minnesota Twins. What were they hiding in 2018??????
