Seems to me that the owners would rather not have a season at all, then have a season without ticket sales.

One of MLB's original suggestions was a season that was played in ST facilities that went into December.

1. KC Royals ownership is going to pay all MiLBers through the end of the season. 2. Nationals ownership is cutting their pay, so Nationals MLB players are going to make the MiLBers whole.

It's looking less likely that it'll be ready that quickly since they are now in a standoff. They'll still need about 3-4 weeks of modified ST. Need to figure out schedules and figure out if any players are going to sit out. Seems like an 81 game season may be pushing it. I'd be fine with a 60 game regular season and an extended playoff schedule where teams that didn't make the playoffs still have a few weeks to play against each other.

The players who make more money have the ability to do so. Why is David Price reaching into his pocket to pay MiLB guys? Why not the owners?

And yet you're siding with the owners who are whining that they are not going to make enough money this year. The owners who are contracting MiLB. I believe the players care far more about "the game" and its future than the owners do.

The vast majority of players don't make millions of dollars. The average MLB career is 1.5 years.

Yes, the world is the same as it was 130 years ago. Baseball is consumed the exact same way. There is no difference between 1890 baseball and 2020 baseball.
