    The veterans committees are a racket. They are why all those mediocre guys from the 40's are in there. All those guys need to be in a separate wing. The only guys who have been elected that way who are deserving are the Negro Leagues guys.

    Offensively? Sure! I have to be honest though, Biggio's peak in 95-98 were part of a time period where I paid very little attention to anything that wasn't directly related to the Red Sox and had a big blind spot for the NL.
