I just like masks because I don't have to fake smile at people anymore.

They had to take out the arrows in Publix down here because 1/2 the people weren't following them or were intentionally walking in reverse to get to the items they passed by. I've only seen 3 people not wear masks there since the original mask mandate. In our dumb county, the mask requirement died earlier this fall.

Can Dalbec maintain a .394 BABIP? Because of how hard he hits the ball it should be higher than normal, but probably not that high.

There were just allowing Puello to continue on his journey of playing in every organization at least once. -
I like Dalbec, but I'm not sold on him being anything other than Kevin Maas. His high k rate isn't sustainable right now. And it's not like JD was raking last year. There's a solid chance JD never returns to form. With a 26th roster spot, you can stash a guy for the whole season (see Arauz).

If the Sox were able to take a flier on Sanchez at what he made in 2020, I think they should do it. He still has high upside. If they moved him off C, maybe his bat comes back?

FL drivers are horrible, but I still contend that RI drivers are the worst of anywhere I've lived. Have never been to LA the state though, just LA the city.

At the very least, they need a 4th OFer that can play CF. I think they sign a starting OFer on a 1 or 2 year deal. There's no reason to rush Duran. Make him force the issue the way Beni and Devers did. -
The BoSox were on pace for one of the worst starter ERAs in baseball history at one point last season. Simply put, they need starters -- particularly ones that won't break the bank account. In any other year, Taijuan Walker could demand a longer deal, but in this uncertain landscape, he may have to settle for a more modest one. Basically, they need a starter and Walker is a starter. He's just taking each team and picking one FA to sign. Despite the circumstances, we took a stab at matching one free agent with each of the 30 MLB clubs.

I can't see Sanchez getting non-tendered. It could happen, but I doubt it. The BABIP gods killed Pham this year. I'd grab him in a second.

He didn't want the fight with the union because the entire scandal would have been an open book to the public. Easier to try and sweep it under the rug.
