Maybe it was a little bit of an overpay, but it definitely didn't come back to bite them.

    He was getting hotter, but going 0-8 with a BB and 7 K really puts a damper on that. It's just not a pretty picture right now.

    @IanCundall Solid start for Red Sox RHP Josh Winckowski in Portland. Final line: 5IP, 7H (1HR), 3ER, 0BB, 9K. FB was 92-94 T96. Best pitch was SL at 82-86. 7/9 strikeouts were with SL.     I've read that it was originally scored correctly as was immediately shown on MLB.com. However, some are pointing to a manual change just prior to the league week ending. Was Yahoo hacked? Was it an inside job by someone who needed that score adjusted? IDK, but I'm leaning towards this not being an innocent mistake.

    I'm fine with whatever. I'm annoyed by it, but this is all just for fun. If I miss out on the playoffs by half of a game, I can put more blame on some of the dumber decisions I've made.

    IDK, but it seems like it's going to be a struggle for Dalbec to get that OPS up to 721. His decreased BB rate is very concerning.

    @alexspeier Bogaerts says he’s noticed instances over the last couple weeks where he hasn’t seen sliders with the same bite that pitchers typically have, and he’s wondered whether that’s been a product of the absence of foreign substances Xander really throwing the Sox rotation under the bus here.
