    Duran 570 career MLB OPS in 20 games Munoz 734 career MLB OPS in 208 games I think with Yairo, we have a little better idea of the player he is. He was an exciting guy to watch last season. He has also worked on getting his k rate down and he's currently at 13.6%. He's not going to hit bombs, but he puts the ball in play and can field several positions.

    As a platoon bat, I'm fine with him. Casas does hit RHP better than LHP. I think you could keep Dalbec and Casas on the same team until Casas becomes an every day guy.

    Nobody thinks Munoz is going to save the season. I think the Sox should always be trying to optimize their lineup though. If it wins one extra game this year, it's worth it.

    From the dumb dumb podcast I listened to: Prices were high. Bloom didn’t want to put names out there because it affects the players. They tried making moves, but the price wasn’t worth the long term affect on the org. If you ignore other deals outside the org, you should like what the trades brought in. Johan Mieses: he can hit. Yairo: he’s producing and close. Cora has asked about getting him on the team. Great energy all the time. Vaz: he wants the high workload, but Plaw is playing very well. Schwarber: LHB was perfect for team’s needs. That’s it?

    Last night, his issue was throwing too many curves in the dirt. Couldn't locate it at all. Need to pick up the bottom of the zone sometimes or hitters will just not swing. According to statcast, he's only thrown 8 changeups this season. He has a 100% whiff rate on those though...

    I liked what I saw from Munoz last season. I thought he was going to be on the 40 man at some point. Probably should have started in BOS on 4/1 instead of Cordero? IDK.

    Beni's 719 OPS would be 9th for the Red Sox. A trade straight up for Winckowski would have been a good deal for the Sox.

    Last night Earlier in the year You are correct that the vertical movement of his pitches isn't as great as it was earlier in the year. I think the bigger issue is him just throwing noncompetitive pitches out of the zone.

    Did management? My opinion doesn't matter. In hindsight, if the prices were that high, why not move some guys if you're trying to look towards the future?
