  1. I think Gray/Bradley/Hernandez would be a decent offseason. I'd rather a higher upside guy in the rotation, but I don't think they are breaking the bank there. I really don't want them to bring in Neris.
  2. Definition of pinder (Entry 1 of 2) British : POUNDMASTER Definition of pinder (Entry 2 of 2) chiefly South : PEANUT
  3. Ok.
  4. Andriese was well worth the money since he taught Whitlock a changeup.
  5. Damnit...
  6. Because he's not very good.
  7. I will not be drawn into Chad Pinder discourse.
  8. Too much work.
  9. Yes, he was problematic. Nonzero chance he was on the Epstein flight logs.
  10. Deal for Sean Nolin incoming. Ricky Nolasco making a comeback? Daniel Norris isn't really a starter anymore. Aaron Northcraft and James Norwood don't seem likely.
  11. @SoxProspects Pedro Castellanos belted a three-run homer for Cardenales de Lara is their 10-9 loss yesterday. The 23-year-old slugger has been off to a strong start in this year's Venezuelan Winter League batting .324 with five home runs and 13 RBI over 80 PA.
  12. This has always been a kill time at work thing for me. Weekends are for you guys to post whatever horrible things you want to post. I only check in if something major happens.
  13. I'd be happy to make do with $5M. Anything after that is just a Scrooge McDuck lifestyle of swimming in gold coins.
  14. From the article: Montas, for instance, is probably the least likely of the “big five” members of the arbitration class to be moved.
  15. Seems like most of the smoke is foretelling a trade for Matt Olson.
  16. There have been lots of discussions on here surrounding the Oakland A's selloff. MLBTR has a good breakdown. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/11/how-many-core-players-are-the-athletics-preparing-to-trade.html Maybe they'll keep more players than we'd like?
  17. Exonerated: Chappie Gray (1920-1920) Chesley Gray (1940-1945) Chummy Gray (1899-1899) Reddy Grey (1903-1903)
  18. A list of suspects: Jeff Gray (1988-1991) Jeff Gray (2008-2012) Jim Gray (1884-1893) Johnny Gray (1954-1958) Jon Gray (2015-2021) Josiah Gray (2021-2021)
  19. Dodgers are keeping him around due to the Bauer situation.
  20. So you think they are looking at Jon Gray, but you want them to look at him even more closely? All aboard the Jon Gray train.
  21. Well I will not be spending my Friday night on here.
  22. Not really. Sox wanted to outright Rutledge to AAA, he declined and accepted FA. He signed a deal with the Rockies on 11/23. Sox selected him in the Rule 5 draft two weeks later.
  23. Well, let's hope they don't procrastinate and can make the moves at lunch time so we'll have something to talk about on a slow Friday afternoon.
  24. Either it's a high cost short term or it's a length that will be unpalatable. It's not likely, but more likely than the others. Seager: injury risk Kershaw: not leaving Dodgers Bryant: does not fit a need Freeman: same position as Sox #1 prospect who should premier this season Ray: inconsistent career coming off career year
  25. I guess the deadline was NOT 9AM. We would have seen transactions by now. I believe the deadline is probably 5PM.
