    It means the Sox don’t want to hide anyone on the bench or in the pen this year. I’m ok with that. If Ward sticks, it will be bad. Why keep Brasier on the 40 instead of Ward? Etc.

    In theory it's not Turner money? I haven't seen any estimates really. We're just throwing WAGs out there right now. Yes, Bogey could have an offer on the table that is too much money from another club. However, if that were the case, I think the Sox would have simply walked away today and there wouldn't be the hubbub.

    He's not great defensively, but he's still a better defender than Verdugo. The idea is to sign him to a one year deal and catch lightning in a bottle as he rebuilds value. Career Renfroe: SLG 490 wRC+ 109 HR 157 Conforto: SLG 468 wRC+ 124 HR 132 He's a more athletic version of Renfroe, but walks a bit more.

    I saw 20M as a projection for Senga. Seems high TBH. I think I'd lean towards Kluber at that point.

    If they had signed Abreu, Hosmer would have been traded/DFA'd. If they find a decent RHB for backup 1B, that's what will happen.

    I don't think it would bump Houck to the rotation. Houck would be more likely to be traded IMO.
