    Cole&Cortes implosion factory in the Wild Card round this year. Rodon won't be healthy enough to pitch by that point.

    The problem was that there was a known issue with his arm that I spoke about for a long time. I said it was a ticking time bomb. It was a ticking time bomb regardless of where he played, but it'd be worse at SS than 2B. Yes, I'm blaming Bloom. Not sure how much I can put on Cora as he doesn't create the 40 man roster.

    Some posters wanted to keep Story at 2b no matter what. Others wanted to push him to SS because "that's what they signed him for." What a plan that was!

    Commentary included above. Sox will be a top 15 fWAR team in offensive and starting rotation. Relief will be top 10. This doesn't mean they are good enough to get into the playoffs.

    Some of the arguments on here have been pretty pathetic lately. They are barely about baseball and not at all entertaining. When people actually try to talk about baseball, it just turns into the typical back and forth pettiness within a few posts. Total garbage.

    I take my butterfly talk seriously. You may not have known that about me. I currently have sulphurs, zebra longwings and monarchs in my yard. It's the dead of winter so that's a lite showing.

    So now we're stuck with "the Butterfly Man." Not "the monarch"? Not "skipper" or "swallowtail"? See, I'd go with "sulphur" because 1. butterfly reference 2. sulfur in UK is spelled sulphur 3. he stinks 4. his jersey number is 16 5. sulphur/sulfur's atomic number is 16

    @alexspeier Cora says Sox will need players to step up with Story out. Notes Duran has an opportunity to be a factor. He also says there have now been more conversations about Kiké Hernández at SS. He's had the opportunity since 4/1/21 and hasn't done anything with it. He's a complete waste of talent.

    Earlier. I think the sky fell last season. How could it get worse? We already hear about "last place." How does it get lower? The question is how does Bloom rebound from this and can he build a team that is memorable for anything of value.

    According to one report, the issue didn't even creep up until recently. It wasn't an issue. If there was a known issue, why not get it while he was out last season?!?!? Go back further!
