    @tylermilliken_ There was lots of talk about the pitch clock possibly hurting Kenley Jansen, but it looks like it’s done the complete opposite. AVG Velo from 2022 -> 2023: Sinker -93.6 MPH -> 95.9 MPH Cutter - 92.2 MPH -> 95 MPH Slider - 81.2 MPH -> 83.5 MPH Don’t see that too often at 35. He's been good so far. Lots of Braves fans were saying that we'd regret the signing, but I would have been even been ok with a diminished Kenley Jansen.

    I'd put Romero at 2025. Anthony should be late 2025. If Hamilton is really mid-24, he shouldn't have been protected. Meidroth may be the next guy that moves quicker than expected through the system.

    Did some research. Last season, he lead his league in whiff %. Drohan added a cutter this offseason. He came to ST and also added 1-2 mph onto his FB. He's pitching his first start of the season today for POR.

    His contract is written with the opposite language of Alfaro's. He has a downward mobility clause. He can only be sent down to AAA if acquired by another team and demoted.

    Meidroth just flat out hits. It'll be interesting to see how far up the ladder his tool set can take him. It may flatten out at some point, but IDK. I'm not going to put too much stock in the results of the start for Whitlock, but I'm happy that he's healthy and is ready to join the rotation next week. Bello watch is on. The 19-year-old has the ceiling of a number 2 starter. High-ceiling and low-floor. Has shown among the best raw stuff of any arm in the system.     I think their ETA's on top prospects are generally conservative. We saw how quickly Devers rushed through the system. He beat their timeline.

    I was saying if they had to squeeze someone else onto the roster and DFA someone, I’d dump Ort first.

    Kelly has yet to have a clean outing. He hasn't looked great from what I've seen. He has options so it's not a DFA issue. If it was a DFA question, I probably dump Ort first.

    Makes sense to me. Cora has always stated that he wanted better relievers to be available earlier in the game when needed.
