  1. The feeling is mutual. Therefore, let's call this a draw, and you can get off my gigantic, hairy, manly nuts.
  2. I wasn't specifically taking a shot at anyone, but rather referencing an ongoing discussion about whether or not Crawford could hit lefties. The statistics say he can't. You take it that way because you want to. Perhaps you should try to stop trying to interpret everything i say negatively more often. It would definitely be infinitely less annoying to me.
  3. Ok, then this is what's going on: I'm worried because i think the Sox have a number of left handed-hitters who make a lot of money and can either barely hit or can't hit lefties at all, and most (or all of them) will play against lefties all of the time because of their paychecks. Is that whining or a legitimate concern?
  4. Unfortunately, i couldn't care less about what you think. I'm reasonably worried because the statistics don't lie. Ask them, they're the ones who say he can't hit lefties. Anyways, didn't you have me on ignore because i ended my posts with "cheer, mate"? And now come talking to me about being smug? Oh, and cheers, mate!
  5. Yup. Let them lose a couple games early on, and listen to the whining reach the heavens. Couple of notes: 1)Crawford has looked lost against Wilson. He's never fared well against lefties, and this was my main point of contention against the signing. Something tells me that sig a700 uses to ridicule me may prove me right, dude can't hit lefties. 2)Not a fan of Ortiz in against the lefty with Drew sitting. Drew should be playing right with Cameron DH'ing against the tough lefty. 3)The Lester early struggles ******** is tiring. Let's hope he pulls it together and makes a legitimate run for the Cy this year. 4)Adrian Gonzales is a super-star.
  6. He'll be back soon enough. I have depth to withstand it.
  7. The Orioles have a pretty good lineup with power all over the place and a lot of projection from some of their young players. If healthy, they will put up runs with the best of them: Roberts 2B Jones CF Markakis RF Guerrero DH Scott LF Reynolds 3B Lee 3B Wieters C Hardy SS They have 5 20+ HR guys (Jones, Guerrero, Scott, Reynolds, Lee) two that could break the 20 HR plateau (Markakis, Roberts) and some good OBP guys in the middle of the order. They will also eat lefties for breakfast. There's also the White Sox, who, with the addition of Dunn, and a healthy Quentin and Beckham, boast a pretty formidable lineup: Pierre Beckham Dunn Konerko Rios Quentin Pierzynski Ramirez Morel Power (20+ HR potential from Dunn, Konerko, Rios, Quentin, Ramirez, Beckham) and Speed (Double digit steal potential from Pierre, Beckham, Rios and Ramirez) mixed in with good on base ability from the middle of the lineup, and a very solid bench that works favorably in matchups.
  8. Alex Avila f***ing sucks.
  9. Is it just me, or does Austin Jackson really look like Mike Cameron? (and he strikes out like him too)
  10. I'm still in contact with him. In fact, i'm playing in his fantasy league again. (Posada got outclassed on that 3-2 pitch)
  11. Gom would have creamed his pants over Avila's frame job. Totally fooled the ump.
  12. Fantastic positioning by Granderson. Again, the importance of Defense.
  13. So you speak about suffering from a lack of melanin mate? I find that to be bloody unfair! We should all have equal amounts of melanin! Cheers, mate!
  14. Great play by Raburn. The importance of Defense.
  15. Awful execution on both counts, but the Tigers seem like they'll let CC (and Cano) off the hook, scoring only one run.
  16. Cano and the high fastball. Some things never change.
  17. Goddamnit!
  18. What the f*** does this mean? Austin Jackson strikes out like it's going out of style. Oh, and the FSD announcers are unsurprisingly idiots as well.
  19. Verlander better get his s*** together! He's on both my fantasy teams! And i just found another perk to living in Michigan, i don't have to listen to Michael Kay.
  20. Get off work at 1, then gonna run home to watch the Tigers (hopefully) mop the floor with the Yankees.
  21. I'm a bit verbose either way. Too many thoughts clustering my brain at the same time. I should work on that.
  22. What is it with you and current or ex- Royals players?
