Not really. I'd be sticking a foot up my mouth if CMW had shown ANYTHING this season..... Which he hasn't. Besides. Again. That bullpen sucks, and eventually, he'll get enough spot starts, either to get someone rest, because of injury, or because someone gets shelled early to reach the 150 inning plateau. What i need to brush on is on how NOT to be a ballwashing fan like you. As for Y228, his post makes no sense as to the topic at hand. He's not a ballwasher like you, but he's taking things out of context.

Lol, we're 1 game behind and you're talking like the Yankees just won the ALCS and are about to go to the WS. Again, if the Sox got Tex, Lowell would have been traded, there was going to be no "rotation". Oh, and we all hope they keep spending......and failing like they have for the last 8 years. If we shop him NOW. Hindsght=20/20. At the moment of the Tex negotiations every one of the other 29 teams had leverage in any trade conversation about Lowell because of the significant health issues. And what's in discussion here is not now, so your point is moot.

Had we acquired Teixeira, Lowell was a goner, and Ortiz' struggles would not have been fixed with Teix in the lineup. IMO, we need to wait for Lowell to decline (high chance) in the 2nd half before we go ape s*** about not signing Teix.
