    Listen, the reason i've always thought he could be acquired without giving up Bucholz is in their farm system. Look it up and find me three decent position prospects withing three years of the big club. I'll wait for you here.

    Bitch, please. He's able to hit cleanup, but there are obviously better options. To avoid the confrontational ********, i asked you the following question: If you had AGon and Bay here, who would you hit 4th? I stated he's a bit vulnerable and not very aggresive, just like Youk. But if he re-signs and he's what we have, then he's the cleanup hitter.

All i'm saying is that if the possibility exists to get the man without massively overpaying, then they should go for it. Just set a price and stick with it like they did with Tex but prospect wise.     That's about as wrong as you can get while making a statement. 1) Never speak in absolutes. 2) The crapshoot nature of the playoffs comes into play very strongly in a best-of-seven too. A couple slumps and a clunker by a pitcher can mean defeat in such a short series.
