Well i might be wrong. But i think if someone in MLB has earned the right to end his career however he so chooses it's Tim Wakefield. But that's just a personal opinion.

Kinsler is not a spectacular defensive 2B. Polanco has lost a step, so i'll check into his defensive stats and see how he fares.

This is not accurate. He tried to trade for Gonzales alone but couldn't pull it of. Then he tried to get Felix in a three-team deal using Gonzales in it.

We would be in no position to complain if the difference between payrolls wasn't nearly 100 million dollars. And no, the Sox were not top 5 in payroll last year. They were number 6. Just sayin'.

Luxury tax needss reforming. It's a joke as it stands. Scratch your sense some more, because that was the desired effect. It makes no sense. And of course it's "blown out of proportion". If you were a Colorado fan it would be an enormous issue. This is why the term "hypocrite" was born.
