The post never meant to say that Cabrera is a better defensive player than Tex.
However, this year, (and i'm assuming you know how UZR works even though you probably don't) not only did UZR show Cabrera as being a slightly above average defender, so did range factor per game and per 9 innings (8.3 and 8.9 respectively, actually 0.1 above Teixeira), which is a marked increase from his negative numbers last year on every one of those four defensive metrics (UZR, UZR/150, Rng/9,Rng/G).
Your comment is asinine and an obvious show of ignorance, if you've got nothing to contribute to the discussion other than butthurt because someone compared Miguel Cabrera's defense to Mark Teixeira's last year (without actually backing it up of course) please stop posting in the site.
