  1. This angle and moment is much better IMO, it shows Tex commiting to plowing him even though Wilson was clearly giving him the plate. A simple hook slide would have sufficed, but he had commited way before.
  2. There may be some points of that post you're conveniently ignoring. Just sayin'.
  3. Funny. In this instance, since it doesn't support his argument "Trusting your own two eyes" doesn't apply.
  4. Probably because they have a lot more reason to protect Yankee players with their opinions than the MLBN guys. Not that i agree with either side on this particular instance, but just what would appear to be the case.
  5. You're trying to make a point about other posters "whining" by creating a post that is a "whinefest" of epic proportions and, of course, being a douchebag. Well done.
  6. What do you do with Hermida once Cameron and Ellsbury get back then?
  7. Matt Diaz has the platoon issue going though. He absolutely, completely and totally murders lefties though. Matt Diaz career splits: Vs RHP: .705 OPS. (758 PA) Vs LHP: .917 OPS. (682 PA)
  8. The Cubs will be in the race, and they have money. We'd need to look for an early seller, and i don't think the Cubs fit that mold.
  9. The Cubs are currently three games under .500,and they have Ted Lilly back now. I don't thinkg that "they're not going anywhere" is an accurate assesment of the Cub's chances, because they have the potential to at least hang around in the race past the deadline, so i don't see any reason for them to be sellers. No, thanks on Konerko.
  10. Angels players disagree: http://losangeles.angels.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100423&content_id=9530650&vkey=news_ana&fext=.jsp&c_id=ana
  11. UZR. Learn about it. Then get back to me.
  12. They are both examples of stupidity. So because he's halfway blocking the plate you should charge him with your shoulder? Well i don't like figure skating, but i don't like dirty baseball plays either. Agree to disagree.
  13. Well i lived through the days of "Oh noez, Trot is injured again" and then "Oh noez, Willy Mo can't catch the ball". While certainly not the most durable guy, he's a productive player who's above average on every aspect of the game but consistently gets criticized because of his contract, which IMO, is just plain ridiculous.
