  6. Wow. Wakefield please.
  7. My God Dice-K.
  8. Can i get a lolwut?
  9. Don't think they're overstating it. I simply don't agree because Papelbon keeps getting it done, but signs indicate he could blow up anytime soon.
  10. "Quality start for Dice-K" mojo in full effect.
  11. Explain exactly how.
  12. Seems mechanical to me. You don't lose 4 MPH off your fastball overnight.
  13. Dipre is chuckling and expecting responses from the likes of TheMino and Jacko. Please provide them.
  14. Team's won three in a row, pitching's looking shutdown, Papi and Beltre have started hitting, Drew is sizzling, V-Mart is showing signs of life on both offense and defense, the pitching is starting to come around, as has the defense, and the Sox all-around play has looked less sloppy, it seems the team has regained focus.
  15. So as not to be a total dick to the person looking for honest answers, if i've learned something about life from the Red Sox, it's been from a specific individual generously listed at 5' 8''. Pedroia taught me that hard work and determination can beat talent every time, and can help you achieve any goal you set your sights to.
  16. You should've told me that. I'll have both Miguel Tejada and Hardy rotting on my bench. I would have sent you one of them on the trade no problem. I thought you were going to play Uribe at SS.
  17. In all fairness, an .866 OPS is nothing to sneeze at when both your BA and OBP are being dragged down by an abnormal .270 BABIP. With a BABIP within his normal parameters, Papi posts a .900 OPS in the second half and boosts his season OPS above the .800 mark.
  18. http://espn.go.com/i/eticket/20070223/MATSUZAKA05.jpg Daisuke Matsuzaka, RHP (0-1, 11.57) Matsuzaka's first start back from the disabled list was a roller-coaster event. He was terrific over his first four innings, giving up just one hit and one run. But in the fifth, the Orioles pounded Matsuzaka for six runs. Overall, he gave up seven hits and seven runs (six earned) over 4 2/3 innings. This will be Matsuzaka's first start of 2010 at Fenway Park. Matsuzaka has made 36 career starts at Fenway, going 19-11 with a 4.37 ERA. He has made just two career regular-season starts against the Angels, going 1-1 with a 4.91 ERA. The win came last year, when Matsuzaka fired six shutout innings. Matsuzaka has limited opponents to a .246 average during his career. http://theredzonereport.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/scott_kazmir_tampa_bay_rays.jpg Scott Kazmir, LHP (2-1, 5.57) Kazmir continues to make strides toward a return to All-Star form. He pitched effectively in Detroit, holding the Tigers to two runs (one earned) in six innings. He yielded five hits and four walks while striking out seven, bringing his slider into the game along with his fastball and changeup. When he finds his razor-sharp command with all of his pitches, Kazmir will be back in prime form. Kazmir is 8-7 with a 3.59 ERA in 23 career starts against the Red Sox and is 6-4, 3.05 in 13 outings at Fenway Park. Mojos in effect: "Other team uniforms" mojo. "No whining, bitching, moaning or being overly negative" (In fact, people who exhibit this kind of behavior should be issued a one-day ban by the mods so they don't f*** with the mojo) "Adrian Beltre is awesome" mojo. "Big Papi is back" mojo. "Speak in third person" mojo. "Pasta" mojo. "Daisuke is not a total bust" mojo. Why so many mojos? It's hard enough getting a four-game sweep, and harder with Matsuzaka on the mound, but with all this mojo power, we can pull it off.... WIN!!!!!!
  19. DIPRE MOJO!!!!!!!!!!
  20. And the mojo keeps on rolling.........
  21. Doiji's instincts tell him Daniel Nava is awesome. I think i'll go the opposite route and think Ortiz is on the verge of breaking out.
