Here come the Jets. We aren't getting stops and we aren't getting incomplete passes. Gotta stop him in the next 3-4 plays or we'll have to hope for a missed FG even in the best case scenario.

The Matt Cassell we saw tonight, I wouldn't take over more than about 6 of those guys, or at least it wouldn't be a clear-cut thing. As a scout says, if you see it once it's there. With Matt Cassell, it's there.

Matt Cassell has 400 yards and is the team's leading rusher. He's got the team on his back right now. Having a QB with a bona fide running game is a dangerous novelty on a Bill Belichick football team. Gives him even yet one more weapon.

I would go/have gone for 2 there, if only because of the fact that Cassel had built some huge momentum behind him. Not opposed to playing it safe but PAT can be missed too. Seems to be some delay. Details?

Cassel giving it a decent try FRICKIN' PENALTIES! Patriots might be the least penalized team in football but those penalties always come at third down and 99 for us and first and 1 for them.

Way to waste the last time out in a situation where you do not have the football. Especially with the 2 minute warning coming up. BB is having many, many more brainfarts than usual this year.

Sad. That penalty with goal to go that gave the Jets a first down won't be recognized by the media as the play of the game but that's exactly as it is. Way to sack up with the game on the line, Matt.

And yet they're 3 minutes from uncontested first place in the division, and BB in something less than his finest moment, burnt 2 timeouts in a pointless 6 play goal line stand when he should have saved them for the final scoring drive..
