  1. E-Rod's walks continue to be an issue.
  2. It also would change game plans. If a team KNEW they had 4 downs, that would open up to different and unique strategies. It definitely could work, there is numerous HS teams who do it and have tremendous success. If some of these elite offenses had 4 downs, all they have to do is average 2.5 yards a play for a first down. I think its worth an attempt, but I don't think any NFL team is ballsy enough to attempt this. Teams don't like going away from traditional strategies.
  3. Anthony Rendon - 6-6, 3 home runs, 10 RBI, 5 runs
  4. I hate the Orioles so much
  5. And guess what? His son shoots ridiculously well also.. yet guys like Deandre Jordan won't change their technique and are okay shooting 40% from line while in NBA https://www.google.com/amp/www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/ct-granny-shot-nba-free-throw-20161228-story,amp.html
  6. A lot of people don't want to adjust and listen to what statistics say. For example, it's surprisingly with how many extra points are missed/blocked, teams don't try for 2 more. Steelers are only team I remember doing it consistently, and it works for them. No one is consistently stopping Ben/AB/Bell from getting 2 yards.
  7. What's annoying about him is he has been a dominant pitcher ever since he left Boston. His ERA has been 2.23 or lower every year since he left, it was over 6 in Boston..
  8. Bobby Jenks, Andrew Bailey, Joel Hanrahan and Javier Lopez were some of my favorite relievers in recent memory. All beasts.
  9. I agree with this, he isn't fast by any means, but last year he seemed Ryan Hanigan slow on base paths, this year he seems in better shape.
  10. Judge reminds me so much of Giancarlo Stanton.
  11. Wasn't the weather also really s***** that night?
  12. The Red Sox bullpen has actually been pretty good this season...
  13. I think Lackey is a douche, but he's a good pitcher and I would welcome him back to Boston in a heartbeat.
  14. Yeah, not a good throw by Xander, but that's equally on Taylor, I think Rizzo was going to beat him to the base anyway..
  15. Awesome. Just f***ing awesome.
  16. Where the hell was that pitch?
  17. He's made the decision of "who should go" when Price comes back very easy.
  18. I don't think anyone understood it. Wright has been horrible all season and we have a chance to get a quality start out of him, he looked done at the end of the 6th, and he brings him out for another three batters? WHY? it makes no sense. This isn't a hindsight thing either, numerous people said he shouldn't of been out there on this thread.
  19. Now were in position to lose.. THIS is why Farrell is a horrible manager. I defended him when the offense was slumping, he cant control that, but everyone in the world knew Wright was done, yet this dumb ass brings him out for no reason, and lets him give up a bomb and a double.
  20. And of course he f***ing puts Wright back out there and he gives up a bomb. f***ing stupid.
  21. Yup. We should take 6 innings of 3 run ball against the Cubs from Wright and be happy. No reason to mess around and put him back out there.
  22. Hanley and Beni with BOMBS today. Damn
  23. How the actual f*** is that a strike? What a joke
  24. I dont like Abad, but he was huge tonight.
