Lets go JBJ! Big hit there.
  2. Jasonbay44
Why would you throw through there Vazquez? Man is he having an awful year.
  3. Jasonbay44
More bad defense tonight. Come on Vazquez and Devers...
  4. Jasonbay44
They said earlier today that he would miss tonight, but will return to lineup tomorrow.

R.I.P Corey Seager's season... At least Didi is on my team and was starting over him anyway. Still annoying to waste a pretty high pick on Seager though and have that happen.

Don't forget tonight's game thread iortiz

Yeah, I think almost anyone would accept Castillos contract to play minor league baseball. 7 years of your life for $72 million? Sign me up. Even if you are miserable in the minors, you are set for life unless you are an absolute moron.

I actually usually like drafting them, because for me its the logic of "if they suck, good, f*** them, they're yankees anyway", and if they're doing good "well at least its helping me in some way". Didi has been a blessing this year, and Sanchez/Severino were great for me last year.

Velazquez now is tied for the team lead in wins (4) with Porcello and is 2nd on the team in ERA to only Kimbrel. He deserves major props for his work this year both as a starter and as a long man.

This umpire is absolutely horrendous.. Oh.. Its CB Bucknor.. Makes sense.
  11. Jasonbay44
Holt was already placed on DL for Xander.
  12. Jasonbay44
What in the hell is Devers doing? That wasn't even just an error, that was just pure stupidity.
  13. Jasonbay44
Pretty weird that both managers used their closer in the 8th.
  14. Jasonbay44
Denard Span is a certified Red Sox killer. This guy literally is killing us this season.
  15. Jasonbay44
Whats crazy is a lot of these plays aren't even being ruled errors, but bad defensive plays are making the job harder for pitchers. There has been multiple times this season Nunez has bobbled a double play ball, and still gotten an out so it technically not an error. JD Martinez is same in the outfield, that is a hit but that ball needs to be caught.
  16. Jasonbay44
JD Martinez is so bad in the field.
  17. Jasonbay44
Bad AB by Devers. Good job by JBJ to at least tie this up.
  18. Jasonbay44
I wouldn't even say he's being squeezed, they're all out of the zone, close, but not strikes.
  19. Jasonbay44
JD with a huge hit, this hopefully gets the team going. Need at least 1 more here.
  20. Jasonbay44
Nunez really needs to start hitting. His glove is so bad that he's literally a negative right now.
  21. Jasonbay44
What is with these random mediocre players killing the Sox. Really, Denard Span?
  22. Jasonbay44
    Porcello looks sharp thus far.
  23. Jasonbay44
Remember the people in the game thread calling Sean Manaea a bum during his no hitter? He's now 4-2 (lol at him having 2 losses), leads league in wins, ERA and has allowed only 5 earned runs in 44 innings this season.
  24. Jasonbay44
Not surprising Nunez makes a s***** defensive play
  25. Jasonbay44
Hopefully this Mookie injury isn’t serious
