It's not your word against mine, genius, it's your word against the word of the front office of the team who has won two championships so far in their tenure. Minor difference there. The question stands, why are you or Cabbie McYouporn even close to as credible as they are? However, I obviously made you mad enough to make you bring up this accounting thing for the 4,000th time, after you failed to even read the post properly in the first place. So I guess I made a valid point.

I have the choice of putting faith in the moves of the front office that has delivered two world series titles to Boston in their tenure, or I can put faith in the words of two people who are laughably old fashioned, in baseball terms, and snugly fit the profile of the middle-aged know-it-all sports fan who thinks his favorite team's GM is clueless because the team doesn't win 130 games and the championship every year. What kind of idiot sides with the latter?

For sentimental reasons, I want Miggy. Then I could troll the s*** out of another sports forum filled with idiot Detroit fans who said just last summer that there is no way Miggy would ever be traded and the Tigers as a franchise would never face financial problems because their owner founded a f***ing pizza place.
