  1. I'm hoping for a win just because it's frightening to imagine the level of f***tardery around here lately rising much more.
  2. And Boston fans f***ing wonder why the rest of the country always makes fun of them.
  3. Kind of a Red Sox/Rays dynamic in Atlanta tonight.
  4. I'm attending opening day with a paper bag over my head.
  5. I don't think they blew it up, none of those guys will be stars. Gallinari's still an overrated volume chucker. Wilson's an okay third option, not much more. In any case, Melo's a bad fit, and it's pretty embarrassing that they could have had Deron Williams for, at most, the same package, possibly less. I actually think one of Melo and Stoudemire will be gone by this time next year, maybe even this coming summer. It's a square-and-circle fit with them, it's obvious Stoudemire's unhappy, and it could get ugly.
  6. Rose is a lock to win it. I still think the Bulls will flame out once they see Miami or Boston though.
  7. Sphincter. Now I have the last word.
  8. They're not mauling the gas pedal with only home court throughout left to battle for.
  9. Well they are old, they did clinch their playoff spot, and they proved last year that home court isn't quite as important to them.
  10. They and the Bulls need another year IMO, before I can safely label them serious title contenders. They've shown some great stuff in the regular season but come playoff time, I don't know.
  11. Why does it seem like we're only in Cleveland in April or May, and only during the week?
  12. Wade actually said the Thunder were better than the Lakers or Celtics. I lol'ed.
  13. http://www.news10.net/news/story.aspx?storyid=128672&catid=2 Kings apply trademarks and set up web domains for 'Los Angeles Royals' and 'Anaheim Royals'. At least this makes San Jose and Larry Ellison more viable for some wayward franchise on the way out, like the Hornets.
  14. Celtics lose in NJ. I'm not too broken up about that, with Deron there the Nets are better than their overall record. I just wonder if the tables are turning on Krstic, there was no way he was keeping that s*** up. Denver's also doing good for themselves sans Melo. Looks like I was a little off about them receiving nothing but trash in return.
  15. Some people are speculating that he wants to play with Ronde and could wind up with Tampa. I'd rather drink a bottle of bleach and receive a hot coffee enema than have him on the Bucs. Anyway basketball. I think the Lakers win, the Heat look like crap in the first half, look better in the second, but LA ultimately hangs on.
  16. Oh god, we're back to the press conferences...
  17. You buy that crap? There is no easier thing to say after getting upset multiple times in your house than 'oh, we're not taking this seriously'. Lol imagine the uproar if any one of the Heat guys had said something like this.
  18. So who remembers last year, when the Celtics lost to the Nets and Grizzlies at home, the entire fanbase was s***ing bricks (except me, of course), they went 5-8 to end the season, hope going into the playoffs was non-existent, and then what do you know - they take the Lakers to 7 games in the Finals and likely would have won if not for Ray Allen's f***tardery. Funny how similar things are looking for Miami this year.
  19. Who the hell did I blame for anything? You said they have no depth, I countered with the two players that spent most of the year hurt, the two players Miami was counting to be their 6th and 7th men this year, who are on the way back. So first it was 'the Heat suck at this this and this', which I went ahead and dismantled, now those stats (evidence is another word for it) don't mean anything because of who they've played? Keep reaching. I guess nobody's team stats mean anything then. Chicago being 1st in defense is meaningless, since they've played a shitload of bad teams. Boston's negative rebounding differential must not mean anything, since it's positive (and in the top half of the league) against the Lakers.
