  1. Isn't that what I said? He should've gone to another school? Oh, and I never said I wanted to take away anyone's rights, I am, again, stating my opinion on it. Someone can express their disdain for something without lobbying to take the option away. And I care... why?
  2. What month is it again? Miller and Haslem have been hurt all year, and Bibby's still trying to get acclimated. Try again. T-6th in the NBA in opponent's 3-point%. Just horrible. They don't have a set in stone center, but there isn't really a glaring need for one. They're 6th in rebounding differential and top 2 in opponent FG%. I think they're doing okay with what they got. Ohhhhhh right, the PRESS CONFERENCES. What an idiot I am, forgetting how CRITICAL those are in determining a team's state of being. Bull. s***. The bench will improve itself once the playoffs roll around and at least Miller's healthy. A 100% Haslem would be a huge bonus, they've gotten by without him. The chemistry thing is junk, that creates itself when everything else is in place.
  3. I'll be in stitches when you (somehow) kick up the irrational LeBron garbage five or six notches to try and downplay him winning a championship one year after leaving the shitshow that never lifted a finger to try and get him teammates. It's amazing and shows that America just does not learn. The similarities to the 2008 Celtics are numerous, both with the team itself and the trash people keep spewing to try and magnify their failures and downplay the success. But most casual fans/ESPN mouthbreathers have their heads much too far up the present's ass to ever notice.
  4. I'm preaching? I thought I was stating my opinion. I don't care what their faith is, their ideals and morals are garbage, and (like most if not all organized religion) are rooted in control. No reasonable person should give a flying f*** if you have sex with your girlfriend who you are in a relationship with. I'm not telling anybody what to believe, I'm calling the game as I see it.
  5. I will be highly amused when the Heat win it all in June.
  6. Its the dumbass's fault for going to that school and agreeing to take part in those retarded ideals in the first place. I'm sure there were at least a couple of schools that recruited him that wouldn't flip out over premarital sex and drinking.
  7. The ironic part is how much Boston hated Scalabrine those first two seasons.
  8. Putting much faith into someone who would be coming out of retirement isn't smart. And Sheed was flabby last season.
  9. Could've had Battier for a lot less.
  10. Well the deadline's gone, the only 'big' thing they could possibly have in mind is Troy Murphy, who's far from ideal.
  11. They're going to take a run at Murphy. He's no good defensively but he is a good rebounder.
  12. He was drafted for Seattle. The Allen deal was already done.
  13. Jeff Green is a tweener-forward, like Antawn Jamison. He doesn't really fit at either forward spot. For some teams (like the Knicks now or the vintage Suns), that might work. For us it's completely unnecessary. As for the center spot, Shaq can't play big minutes, and whose to say he won't go down with something big? he hasn't been a picture of health these past few years. JO'N can be counted on for absolutely nothing, even when he's not 'injured' his body is just too fatigued to give us much. Krstic is actually going to have to play, and he's useless. Have fun hiding his sorry ass, Doc and Frank.
  14. Who cares if Perkins was going to free agency? He's not a piece you build around, we're a top 3 title contender, and our window is closing. Perk's contract status isn't enough of a reason to deal him for an unnecessary player and trash.
  15. Nate Robinson and Kendrick Perkins to OKC for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic. Even if Perkins has health issues we don't about, Krstic is trash and Green's a combo forward whose only real use is on running teams where he can play the floor-spacing 4. We don't get a swingman in return and we lose a rock solid defensive center. I'm considering bringing the lolcats out of retirement for this one.
  16. I don't like to compare trades involving completely different parties, but the Melo deal is looking a little less good right now. Knicks probably could've had Deron for just Felton, Gallo or Chandler, and Mozgov.
  17. Wow, the Williams trade came out of nowhere. I like it a lot for both teams. The Nets get star power they need heading to Brooklyn, as well as a damn good player who will help them more than Melo would've. Utah's getting Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, and some number of first round picks (I want to say two), which could ending being a nice haul. The Jazz are definitely moving one of their other big men before the deadline. My gut says Millsap is out, Okur and Jefferson don't have much trade value.
  18. edit - nevermind
  19. They'd probably have to take a pay cut.
  20. They might be able to flip Billups + additional assets for Deron Williams or Chris Paul next year, since both are looking like good bets to bolt their franchises. Hard to see the Knicks being able to sign either in FA.
  21. Grade schoolers have February vacation.
