    Not an optimist just trying to be rational, I know what your saying that this could turn out to be a train wreck but, do you really not see our offense heating up again. And like iv'e been saying we have Beckett and Lester who are both clutch and reliable heading our rotation and clay showed promise Saturday If we can win 3 out of every 5 games we will win the wildcard, that means 2 wins from lester and Beckett and 1 from Clay penny and whoever the f*** we throw out there

    In my opinion not really worried about the Rangers, If one of our problems is pitching then they are in worse shape than us, they have no ace and have young pitchers in there rotation. This will be a crucial series this weekend in Texas

    It's not like we have a choice or any better options besides maybe Bowden and I don't see a significant upgrade there, so why not embrace it and hope the kid pitches well, no use getting upset about it

    Actually excited to see him start and see what hes got but, don't exactly like throwing him in there right away, if he has a rough outing really could set him back hes still a baby (still excited)

    I think they will be fine as well, and Josh Beckett is the f***ing man and I'm really pissed we didn't get him a win Friday and we actually have 2 starters, Lester is dominant as well, Clay will hopefully step up as long as he realizes he has to attack hitters and not show them everything he has the first time through. If we make the plaoffs we will have Beckett and lester pitching and in a 5 game series that means hopefully we will have to win only once when our 3, 4, 5 pitchers pitch. And in a & game series that means most likely Beckett and Lester get 2 starts each, If Bard gets it back together he is nasty, and so is the rest of the BP. Hitting wise if we suck now and play decent tilll the end of the season we will hopefully make the playoffs and if we get hot at the right time then we are serious contenders

    First of all *******, I'm from New York and secondly, who the f*** would say in mid june that the Yankees are no competition when there are 4 months left in the season? Answer: Someone like your self who lives in New York and is a Yankee fan just because it's easy, Knows absolutely nothing about baseball, gloats when the Yankees win and says we need to spend more money when they lose.

    Did the same thing, hit yes thinking I was supporting Drew, In no way can you blame these struggles on Drew, he gets on base at a high rate, plays great defense, case in point that amazing catch on Friday, and yesterday he was one of the only people hitting, and also last year when he carried our sorry ass team in June

    Agreed, Most yankee fans are kind of pathetic that when there team is doing good they would take the time out of there sad lives to come to a Red Sox board to gloat, by the way not one person here cares what you have to say and every Yankee fan on this site is a damn troll who has no life except maybe Jacko at least hes paid his dues and been here when yhe Yankees lost

    Well If they do end up with Guzman I really hope you are wrong and he preforms. I haven't completely given up on Lowrie but I truly don't see him coming back strong or helping us either. Like I said before we are stuck with a platoon of suck at SS unless we make a trade. I wish Casey Kelly was as good of a SS as he is a pitcher, he is coming up as a pitcher right?
