    Not interpretting that at all. I know and person with common sense would know that Tex would upgrade our team. You made it seem as if you think that not only letting Tex go but letting him go to the Yankees wasn't a failure. I actually agree with you that the Yankees would have had the last say most likely, and would have paid a great deal of money for him. We didn't kind of f*** around a little to much over a few more dollars when we have decently deep pockets ourselves, even though as you said it might have all been for nothing because the Yankees can and will spend more.
