  1. Now I was in the can? Did "The Mop" buzz Manny?
  2. The radio feed just mentioned that the Yankee media guide has Fansworth's nickname listed as "Mop", as in "mops up".
  3. Ah...something you can count on!
  4. Ok. So, MLB.tv is blacked-out out for me because of YES. The radio feed audio isn't as sharp at it was on ESPN last night. My question is this: Are the less than classy left field fans yelling "Manny is an *******" like last night?
  5. Decidedly different feel from last night? I'd say YES!
  6. I can't get past just how much I despise Giambi. That sweaty meathead.
  7. Welcome back Mike :thumbdown
  8. It's 49 degrees there but I bet that freak is sweaty, isn't he? He reminds me of Stryker in Airplane.
  9. In from A's and Guardians... IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Sabathia 3.1 12 9 9 2 4 0 11.57
  10. The Wanger only has 56 pitches? Good grief!
  11. Strangely enough, gameday is wrong on the count, too.
  12. I'm talking about MLB.tv. I can see Phillies on Comcast and the Pirates on some channel or another. But I would have to pay to see Yanks on YES and I can't see them on MLB.tv because of the blackout. Blackouts, so I understand, are based on TV contracts and zip codes. I've heard that guys in certain parts of the north central US (like Wisconsin) are blacked out on Twins, Cubs, ChiSox, Brewers, and Tigers games. MLB.tv is perfect for fans like me. Ones who love a team that is far away.
  13. Come on... at least work a walk or something!
  14. I can't decide if I'm happy with a pitchers duel or if I'd rather a shoot out. Not just tonight. Generally speaking.
  15. To get YES (which I really only care about 19 days a year) I would have to pay... that't how my cable company seems to do it, or so I hear. Again, I'm not really looing to get it. But living in central PA, I'm considered part of their blackout area (along with Phillies, Bucs, and Mets). And I agree that the radio PBP is better than the NESN's, but I'm a visual sort of guy. You know?
  16. I, because of YES, cannot see tonight's game. I'm relegated to listening to it.
  17. Good night, folks! See you tomorrow for the Yankers!
  18. Right after I read you post, Don and Jerry realized there was a sound for certain pitches! Hilarious!!!
  19. Sounds like he'll be back. He hasn't pitched in a few days. They probably want to give him some throws, but I'd rather have him for tomorrow. Maybe top 9 will be short.
  20. Yeah! That freakin' throw he makes right on the money? He ought to jump in the air on "routine" plays. Maybe that would solve his throwing issues.
  21. You know... watching Wake pitch is never a comfortable experience. It's like watching some Rube Goldberg machine..you look at it and you think, "There's no way that should work!" But yet, somehow, it does.
