    Good points as usual. We have dealt with the Angels as a wild card team and won the WS before. The big question is are the Angels going to lay an egg in this year's play-off also or is this a different team.

    Tampa loosing now - thanks to their bonehead 3rd base coach. They should have scored 2 in 2nd innings. Coming back to Tampa - Yankee debate - I want the Yankees to loose unless they are mathematically elliminated. Nothing can be sweeter than the Yankees missing their play-off in the last year of Yankee stadium. I don't care if Tampa wins the division - (heck they deserve it anyway) as long as Sox go the play-offs. It will be funny if they win the division with all the seats empty. Interesting debate - though.

    I never thought trading Manny will transform our offense to be this efficient. 10 hits - 10 runs incredible.

    Huff is versatile we can put him almost anywhere in the field. He will fit in nicely if Drew is out.

    Huff had 2 RBI's against the Yankees - he could be a nice pick-up if we don't have to give up much. I would rather take Huff than Millar.

    That was 2 years back - why you live in the past? Apart from being bad in all departments in the game - his game calling sucks in 2008. I will not sign him unless it is free. Let me try to be Varitek. 0-2 count - give me that eye high fastball. Just because I strike out in that pitch - so all MLB hitters also will. Edit - He gets so much credit that he develops young pitchers. Why not credit him for Buchholz,Hansen, Meridith, Delcarman, DiNardo also? I can go on and on - but game calling is the most overrated skill (obviously it is intangible). Like ML pitchers need a baby-sitter everytime they go on the mound. Give me a catcher with good offensive and defensive skills with good arm - I will take him over any game-caller.

    Oh well - you can't win them all at home - specially when you run on a pitcher who likes to dominate us and do complete games.
