I see some people throwing around Stephen Jackson's name as a RB we should try to get. Why in God's name would the Rams trade away one of the top 3 backs in the NFL when he is about the only good thing going for them right now? I mean, I want an awesome RB too but don't hold your breath on that one.

Hello? Anyone out there still watch college basketball? Tennessee, fresh off kicking off their best player Tyler Smith, just beat #1 Kansas by 8 in Knoxville. Crazy. Also, in other SEC news, Mississippi State won at #16 Ole Miss 80-75 yesterday. That was a fun game to be at. Huge win for us.

My bad. I was under the impression it was supposed to be a 2011 pick at first but switched to 2010. Maybe the Raiders can tank it even worse than usual next year.

I'm clearly biased from watching him all 4 years in college and some in HS, but I would love to see us get Anthony Dixon (from Mississippi State). He is a horse, and I think he will be a very good NFL back for someone.

No thanks. The season is already long enough, and after winning the WS (the real goal to begin with) there would probably be a lot of guys who would mail it in/not take it seriously, similar to how the US did with the WBC classic in '06. -
Better use those 2 first rounders wisely, not to mention the rest of the picks. The last several years we haven't exactly had the greatest results in the draft.

That is correct. However, we're fighting tooth and nail trying to recruit the same kids that Alabama is after (as is every SEC school), and this only helps their cause even more. You have to draw the line somewhere.

Holy crap, THANK YOU. Did you read my facebook status earlier? The whole blindly rooting for the SEC thing is so ridiculous. Is Alabama winning the national title supposed to help me feel better about Mississippi State since we're both from the same conference? Uh, yay.

I hate that we were robbed of seeing McCoy play. I do think Alabama still would've won, but you never know. Congrats to y224 though. Enjoy it. My aunt (from Tuscaloosa) was at the game.
