    Just saw an updated version of Lunardi's last four in/first four out and Mississippi State is currently the last team in, with Florida being the first team out. Freaking Washington just won the Pac 10 tournament. Whyyyyy. By the way, the MAC championship is tied at 75 on ESPN2 right now.

    It would be nice if we could just beat Kentucky and not have to worry about it, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I disagree with it 100%, but I fully expect us to get left out. One thing is for sure, I desperately hope we can get a fair shake tomorrow officiating wise. We all know what happened last month when we played Kentucky for the first time.

    Here's what is probably going to happen: State loses to Kentucky, barely gets left out. 23-10, winning your division, and making it to the SECT finals shouldn't get you in? C'mon... I know the SEC isn't a top flight conference, but still. I'm livid at all these MF upsets that keep happening. Illinois is in, Minnesota is in, GT is probably in, Houston secured their bid today, etc. Here's what I don't get. How the hell is Florida in (according to Joe Lunardi) when we just beat those chumps the night before? Plus, we have a better record than them as well. One non-con win against Michigan State shouldn't be the difference here. Ridiculous.

    Sucks to hear that about Mitchell. Watched him a bunch of times while playing at LSU. He is the real deal. Agree with Jacko on Beckham being a must on the Adrian Gonzalez deal.

    Beat Florida last night, Vandy today. Mississippi State deserves to be in the NCAAT. I don't know if we will be if we lose to Kentucky tomorrow, but we should be.

    I think a lot of people take a look at the lineup, don't see a 40+ home run guy, and immediately hit the panic button. Obviously the offense isn't going to lead the league in homers, but I still think we'll put up runs pretty effectively.

    2 straight games against the Leafs that have to be settled in OT or a shootout, and we lose this one. Is it too much to ask to beat one of the worst teams in the NHL in regulation? I know we aren't anything special either, but damn.

    Don't know if you watched much of it, but do you know if a guy named Brett Sinkbeil happen to pitch for the Marlins today? He's a cousin of one of my best friends and a really nice guy. I hope he can crack the Marlins sometime this year.

    Big East tournament underway now. South Florida got an ugly win over Depaul 58-49 earlier. UConn has had a pitiful showing today and are getting embarassed by St. Johns. 67-44 with about 2 minutes left. Wow.

    They've had a bad run of injuries the last few years (especially pitchers) with Slowey going down with a 10-3 record last year, Pat Neshek in '08, Morneau last fall, and now Nathan. It happens, but if any team can bounceback after losing players via trade/injury, it would be the Twins.
