    I live in Buffalo, and now everyone is jumping off the bandwagon. 2 months ago everyone loved the Sabres and were talking about how great they were. The morning after every game they would be on the front of the BuffaloNews, the media was basically giving them blowjobs. But now no one cares about the Sabres. There are no more shirts around school and no more support. This is all funny to me, because i remember 2 years ago when the BoSox were 3-0 against the Yanks, I still spoke highly of them and i still supported them and watched every pitch. Now my friends arnt planning on watching the game as a group for Game 4, despite their support previously. I think Buffalo has the talent and potential to come back and make this series interesting, but too bad they dont know how to play in the playoffs. BTW, i'm not a sabres fan, so don't criticize my lack of support for them.

    I wouldn't consider counting them out until after the trade deadline, because the Yankees can aquire any player at anytime until then.

    alright, i predict that the sox will lose tonight because they will get shut down by Robertson and Dice-K will be average, not great. 5-3 Tigers; and 2 of those runs by Boston will be against the BP. Matsuzaka 5.1IP 4ER 5H 4BB 4K 105 Pitches

    I figure in the 20 starts Clemes wouldnt have made for the Yankees, they would have gone 10-10; but now with Roger, in those 20 games they will go 15-5. Therefore I conclude that the Yankees have just spent $28 mil on 5 wins.

    This sucks. Every year the Yankees do not have the best team until July. It's in July when they find out who is not working out [injuries, slump] so they use their money to make a big move that no other team can do. This pisses me off. I thought this is the year the Yanks dont make the playoffs, now they got Clemens???? He better get hurt or suck because he's 45 years old. I f***in hate the Yankees.

    According to Buster Olney (Baseball Tonight) Dice-K has great command and is slow and pitches well while there is no one on base. But when just one runner gets on base he speeds up.... A LOT. He cant use his normal delivery it is too slow. In the breakdown it showed thiat with no runners on base, he takes about 4.7 seconds until the ball leaves his hand, and when there are runners on, he takes about 1.4 seconds. The only problem now is his speed when runners are on. Rdsxmbnt: Nice post.

    Beckett looks like a completely different pitcher firm last year. It's nice to see some breaking balls from him. 6-0; nice.

    I swear at about 9PM every night i check to see if the Yanks are losing, and it always seems to be the 6th inning with Proctor in. I think Torre gets head from Proctor or something because i dont think he is that good to pitch 5 of every 7 days. Realistically he has made 15 appearences in 23 games. At this rate he'll be overworked by the end of May. He's also going to make approxiamtely 105 appearences this season. I think the overwork of Proctor is Torre's biggest fault. Another knock on Torre, I'm sure any one member on talksox could manage the Yankees in the same timeframe Torre has and also won 4 World Series.

    Why play Cora everyday? He is hitting the way he is because Tito lines him up against pitchers he has been successful with. If Cora plays everyday, he will look just like Pedrioa with his average.
