No... I just think JD Drew is over rated. I think him getting pulled for Rocco is very telling. You just CAN'T be considered a great hitter when you get pulled from a potentially pivotal at-bat just because the pitcher is a lefty. And yes, that is a rant, but don't attack me and you won't get one.

LOL. JD Drew is SOOOO Awesome that Tito pinch hits Rocco Baldelli in the 9th inning of a 3-run deficit, because there is a LEFTY on the mound. $14 million just doesn't buy what it used to. ::rant over::

Other than calling up Buchholz, trading for Halladay, or adding a depth at IF, I don't see how we can really improve this team. We have a really good team and the weak points can't really be upgraded (at least it seems). Will IF depth really be the difference?

Smoltz is really looking good tonight. He's at 74 pitches now, hopefully he can give us 2 more scoreless frames. Millwood is at 90 pitches, lets knock him out of the game and hurt their pen.

Good inning from Smoltz, but I hope his velocity improves as the game goes on. Hopefully he can get that FB up around 94-95mph. That and the sliders down in the zone.
