I think he was something like 10-2 at the AS break that year. He was doing great. But ya when they guy served up that liner that bounced of his dome, he was never the same.

He has looked like he has gotten stronger every outing. If he can pitch 5-6 innings an outing, that would be great.

I don't see Chicago getting Harvin, he will go before they pick. Holt would be a solid pick up for the WR core. The D has it's holes, but I would imagine the O is going to be able to put up a few more points this season too. It might be a good time to see what they can get for Urlacher. They don't have to win this year, and if they could get a couple picks for Urlacher(who didn't seem all that enthusiastic about Cutler), they might be able to fill some of the holes on the team. Just a thought.

Wow huge move for the Bears. Denver gets a decent return as well. I knew Chicago be in on it, but never thought they make the move.

Cutler is a top notch QB. He put up good numbers for a team that was always behind, a complicated offense, young WR's, NO defense and a horrid running game. Ya he might have gone about this the wrong way, but that doesn't diminish his skills.

Dark Horse candidate is Philly. Mcnabb and 1st rounder back to Denver. But that's only if Mcnabb wants out, which he might since Philly has made no attempts to improve the team.

Hahahaha:lol: On the thread topic, I wouldn't be surprised to see NYY get off to a slow start offense wise again this season. No Arod, Tex is a consistent slow starter.

I could see a 1st rounder+ Alex smith going back to Denver. I think Alex Smith would do well in Denver.

TB is a good possibility as well. But in any trade I think there has to be a QB heading back. Quinn from Cleveland, Quinn from NYJ(3-way deal), Josh Johnson from TB? Chicago could jump in on this as well. I believe their pick is right around the other two teams, and I guess they could send Orton back:dunno: BTW Minny should be in on him. Their stupid to think Rosenfels is the answer. If they get Cutler, their instant favorites to win their Conference. Which none of the other interested teams can say.

Denver won't want that. They won't want to wrap up 30M plus in a unproven rookie. Cleveland or NY Jets is the best bet.

Tek might have been in the mentor role is the Sox had brought in a top Catching prospect. The fact the didn't and Kott is the back up, I would imagine Tek will resume his normal role and be pinch hit for a little more often.
