Sounds like something he would say after an inning like that. I saw a couple of his starts when he was in the minors. He was always yelling at himself for something lol It was then I knew I liked him and wanted him in the Sox.

There I was. Only because you totally missed the point of what I was trying to say. I never said you couldn't be a fan of the Red Sox. All I said was one of the things you should do being a new fan of the team, is to read up on the history of the team. You know, star players, big games that sort of thing. If all you know is the current ball club, your missing out on a lot of good stuff. I thought this might help you get up to speed with the team, thus making your a higher quality fan.

I think you misunderstood me. I was suggesting to genuinely try and learn as much as you can about the teams history. Taking the time to do that would help you understand the franchise. I wasn't trying to take this piss out of you.
