Let's take a look at the Yankee pitching since Posada has been out, and the pitching when Posada catches, as opposed to the pitching when Posada catches. Let's let bygones be bygones, and judge Posada from here on in. Fair enough? I just want you to see what I see. Listen, no one in the world will be happier than me if Posada frames a pitch.

    So you'd rather have 6 OFs then 3 catchers? I'd be surprised if anyone claims Cash. If they do, no loss. The guy is just plain terrible. I'd love to see Molina and Cervelli split catching duties with Posada as the DH.

    Are you nuts Jacko? What is he going to prove in SWB? He's a much better catcher than Cash. He stays here. That isn't even a question. You need a defensive catcher for Posada in the late innings. Posada comes back, Cash goes down. Nady comes back, Berroa goes down. The real question is what happens when Molina comes back. Do you send down Gardner? If you keep him, you have Damon, Cabrera, Swisher, Matsui, Nady, and Gardner. Six OFs are too much. I hope they can trade Matsui for some pen help, but no one will take that salary.
