Too late yeszir. You can merge all you like, but the thread was started by bulldog.... Sorry all...as much as I want to, I can't try to annoy you today. Not for the win, or the loss. This is because Ratchet is going home, and I am happier than you can imagine. When people like dreilly, SOTK, Thumper, ORS, Coco's Disciples, and The Dustball help me out in a cause that matters to me, I just can't root against them today. I may be rooting against the Sox, but not against my friends, at least for today. Good luck, and may the better team win. -

I would have broken the bank for Santana or CC, not Peavy. I think he's good, not great. I'd rather blow my wad for free agents...let someone in the NL overpay in prospects. I'd rather use cold hard cash. The advantage on the other side is that if you get Peavy, at below market value, you can overspend for Tex and Manny and still stay below 180 mil.
