    Because Hal and Hank needed to step up and win a title. They did that, but they mortgaged their future (aka the NOW) to do it. They were afraid someone would come in and offer a ridiculous contract, so they did. I know, it was f***ing stupid. Dumbest contract in sports. I'd love it if they could get out from under it. They will not make the same mistake with Cano (I hope)

    I am aware of that. But apparently, they have proof that ARod is the one who connected Cervelli et al to Bosch and then he tried to buy the evidence for the express purpose of destroying it. Regardless, the Fraud is going to reduce the sentence, I just hope he gets a full yr out of it. We need it and I hate that f***in douche

    You've played like s*** and haven't hit any of their starters at all thus far in the series. Yet you've retained home field advantage and are likely going to be locked in a 3 game series after tonight. That bodes well for the sox, because I doubt the offense sucks this much the second time around against these guys.

    Peavy and his miniscule walk rate comes up small in the clutch. How do you walk 3 straight batters when you're that good? He has always come up small in the playoffs.

    I am not shocked that the sox managed a single run off Verlander. I am completely shocked that Lackey shut down Detroit. I was able to watch a few pitches here and there inbetween the masses of humanity rolling in on a Tuesday after a 3 day weekend. I saw the AB of Tazawa vs Cabrera and he just couldn't catch up to the heat. That isn't like him. That guy is a shell of himself
