Kuroda has silently been pretty good for us. He hasn't been an ace, like year's past, but he's been a solid #3 type starter. 4.23ERA, 1.24WHIP. Not too bad. Peripherals practically identical to last yr.
We have a pen that shortens games to 5 innings. If we get Pineda back, we'll have Tanaka, Pineda and Kuroda with a lights out pen. I think we have the goods on the mound to be dangerous in the playoffs. The problem is, our offense doesn't hit good pitching
McCann has been great defensively, but an utter disappointment offensively. Beltran is a disaster. That being said, somehow we are WAY better than the sox this yr.
