  1. Ortiz might finally have lost it.
  2. Yeszir and YOTN. Right next to the talksox.com logo at the top of the screen, there is what I assume is an ad which is written in Arabic. Do you have any idea what it says....and are you bastards recruiting for ISIS!!!! Just kidding...I think
  3. Do you guys remember when Papelbon had an ERA that was so low it didn't move after a scoreless inning? I wonder if this would happen to ERod soon. The kid didn't seem to have it today in terms of location and he still got 6 scoreless. He's gonna be a pest
  4. McCann with the dagger. Dellin and Drew and you're through!
  5. That's the even keel. He could be up there with the sacks packed or facing the leadoff hitter and he looks like he could give a s***
  6. E-Rod is an even keel player who throws his pitch and can locate. It helps that he's got a plus fastball and change as well as a pretty good breaking ball
  7. I could take an unending amount of Gary Thorne, so long as it is Gary Thorne being tortured by a dentist with Parkinson's
  8. Tanaka has returned with his stuff! He has been pumping 93-95 since he returned in Seattle. Straight cheddar. If it wasn't for a boneheaded running play by Tex, we'd be capable of handing him a win
  9. Did you really expect his ERA to stay under 1? He's a rook with fantastic stuff, but he's still a rook. He's gonna have some rough days. Tonight might be one, who knows.
  10. I like some of the talent in Day 2, a bunch of fliers for the most part except for Adams and Finley. Adams is gonna fly through the system. He is small framed, but has a huge fastball and breaking ball combo
  11. Tate Matheny for the fourth round
  12. Benintendi will be in Greenville next yr after he spends some time in the NYP this yr
  13. Benintendi will be in Greenville next yr after he spends some time in the NYP this yr
  14. Yankees select Drew Finley. HS pitcher, big frame without big fastball yet. Polished for a HS arm. Dad is a VP in the Dodgers system. I like this pick
  15. Red Sox select Austin Rei with their third rounder, C from UW. Good D catcher who hit well after an injury. Highest ranked college catcher in the draft per MLB.com
  16. Benintendi is a polished college bat with some power and speed. He hit for power in college, but he isn't going to be a big basher in the bigs. He's got projection as a hitter for average, solid speed, double digit HRs, and will stay in CF.
  17. I want Matuella, Nix or Rivera here
  18. Don't mind the Degano selection. Lefty a year removed from TJS who touches 95 and has a plus breaking ball. I want guys who, if they hit their potential, would be top notch big leaguers. Holder, if he hits his ceiling, will be Brendan Ryan
  19. Kyle Holder is a s***** draft pick
  20. Kaprielian reminds me of the drafting of Ian Kennedy. He'll be a big league starter and he will be there quickly. His ceiling just isn't especially high.
  21. I want Aiken, Cameron, Harris, or Funkhouser
  22. Benintendi is the pick. Slight build but good power and speed combo. He has the ability to stay in CF
  23. Fulmer, Cameron, or Benintendi will be the pick...
  24. I had seen Bregman mocked to the sox for weeks. Now he's off the board. You're gonna see a run on pitching soon. The sox are gonna go pitching unless Benintendi is still there
  25. And it begins. Yankees have picks 16 and 30 for tonight
